Reference Desk & Reference Consultations

Students are advised to seek assistance at the Law Library reference desk if they have any questions or issues in the library. If a librarian is not available at the desk please speak to someone at the circulation desk or email one of the librarians to set up a research consultation.

Study Rooms - See Study Room Policy on the Library Information Page

Check out Materials

Students may check out most books for six weeks. Students may track their checked out books and renew them online using their library account. Students can access their library account at https://lall.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/loynolaw/ (ask at the circulation desk for your log-in information). Books located in the Reserve Collection at circulation may be checked out for a maximum of three hours.

If you need a book, article, or other resource that is not available in our library, you can request it via interlibrary loan. This service is available to currently-enrolled students, faculty, and staff.

Some professors make their past exams available electronically, while others are available only in print. (Note that some professors may not provide the Library with any of their old exams.)  The Library maintains an index of exams showing the professors, courses available, and format of the available exams; this index is available at the circulation desk on the first floor of the library.

Past Exams

You may access all of the electronically available exams at this link and can browse by professor or course name; you must use your Loyola email accounts to access these files in Google Drive.
