Welcome to Loyola University New Orleans College of Law! We’re located a few blocks from Loyola’s main campus – a short walk or ride on the historic St. Charles Streetcar — in beautiful Uptown New Orleans. Here, you’ll join a collaborative community of students and educators who share your passion for law and will get to know you by name. With one of the oldest clinical programs in the country, you’ll benefit from a rigorous legal education with an emphasis on experiential learning.

You’ll spend the afternoon with current students in a small, informal setting, sitting in on a real lecture and visiting all the spots on campus that you’ll frequent once you start classes. Get S.E.T. is a day just for you to prepare for your next step as a law student.
Get S.E.T. Itinerary
The Get S.E.T. itinerary includes an immersive day of activities where you will connect with members of the Loyola Law community and start to envision your future as a law student. You will sit in on a lecture, enjoy lunch with current students who can answer your questions, and take a tour of our beautiful campus in the heart of Uptown New Orleans. Get S.E.T. events typically last around three hours and take place in a small group setting.
S - Sit in on a Lecture
Experience firsthand what it is like to be a Loyola Law student. Sit in an actual class taught by a member of our esteemed faculty. The admissions office will send you the class reading assignment a few days in advance so that you can follow along and actively participate in class.
E - Eat Lunch with Current Loyola Law Students
Who is better equipped to answer your questions about the law school experience than those living it? We will arrange for you to have lunch with our Student Ambassadors on campus in the Broadway Activities Center. We want to give you a chance to talk about Loyola Law and the admissions process in a more casual environment.
T - Tour Campus
Let our Student Ambassadors show you the ins and outs of campus. You will get to see everything, from classrooms to the Law Library and Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic.
