Like New Orleans, you have to experience Loyola College of Law first hand to truly see it's charm. We offer several ways to visit with us. 

 

The Office of Law Admissions is open daily, 8:30AM - 4:45PM CST. We also offer extended virtual hours Monday & Wednesday until 6:00PM CST.

 

At this time, we are not offering walk-in appointments. However, you may schedule a campus tour, virtual meeting, or phone conference using the links below.

Loyola College of Law offers tours on a limited basis. Because of the COVID-19 outbreak, the following precautions must be taken:

  • All guests must provide proof of COVID vaccination. To prove vaccination status, individuals can use the LA Wallet app; an original, digital photograph, or photocopy of CDC vaccination cards (both sides); or an official vaccine record issued by another state, foreign nation, or the World Health Organization. No exceptions will be made.
  • All visitors must wear a fabric or disposable face mask that covers the nose and mouth.
  • A prospective student is limited to one guest.

Day Courses

  • Civil Law Obligations I
    This course treats the general provisions of the Louisiana Civil Code applicable to all contracts in Louisiana, the formation and effect of agreements, various categories of obligations and the means of their extinction. Obligations I is taught by Professor Davrados, and is available Mondays & Wednesdays at 3:05PM CST. 
  • Common Law Wills, Trusts, and Estates (9AM)
    This course covers public policy and estate planning, intestacy, wills, probate and non-probate transfers, protection of spouses and children, trust administration and fiduciary duty, future interests, the rule against perpetuities, and briefly federal estate tax. The 9AM & 2PM Wills, Trusts, and Estates classes are taught by Professor Crusto. 
  • Common Law Wills, Trusts, and Estates (2PM)

 

Evening Courses

  • Civil Law Security Rights
    This course includes those sections of the Civil Code dedicated to security rights, including the contracts of suretyship, pledge, mortgages on immovables, privileges, deposit, and sequestration. Security Rights is taught by Professor Davrados, and is available Mondays & Wednesdays at 6PM CST.
