Incubator Attorneys
For several years, the Incubator Program has provided recent Loyola graduates with the opportunity to build out their areas of practice under the guidance of experienced attorneys while providing legal services to underserved people and communities in New Orleans.
2019-2020 Cohort
Christopher “Chris” Leger received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in May 2018, where he participated in the Misdemeanor Defense Clinic as well as the Law and Technology Clinic. Prior to attending law school, he served his community as a police officer for 10 years. He lives in Metairie with his wife and three children. His law practice focuses on family law, successions, and misdemeanor criminal defense.

Patrick McLellan received a Bachelor of Science in Management from Tulane University in 2011 and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2016. During law school, he worked as an intern for the New Orleans City Attorney’s Office, an intern for the Honorable Tracey Flemings-Davillier in Orleans Parish Criminal District Court, and as a law clerk for Southeast Louisiana Legal Services. After law school, he worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Bernadette D’Souza in Orleans Parish Civil District Court. His practice focuses on all areas of family law, including but not limited to custody, child support, community property, divorce, domestic violence, and paternity.

Tobie Lynn Tranchina graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University of New Orleans College of Law in 2017. While at Loyola she worked in the Children's Rights and Family Law Clinics and was the recipient of the 2017 Association of Women Attorney's Law Student Award for her work with the clinics. Tobie had an article published in The Loyola University New Orleans Journal of Public Interest Law in the spring of 2017 titled "Nonparent Visitation Rights: A National Issue as Addressed in Louisiana." This article dealt with the complex laws pertaining to visitation rights of grandparents and other family members.
Tobie began her career at a general practice firm in Gretna, Louisiana. After working there for a year, she decided to begin a solo practice and return to focusing her time on family law and successions. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Tobie was an elementary school teacher in Jefferson Parish for seven years.
Tobie is also a qualified domestic mediator in Louisiana for disputes involving child custody and visitation.
