Michelle Morlier joined the Loyola Law staff in September 2010. She is currently the Assistant Budget Manager for the College of Law. As the Assistant Budget Manager, she oversees the operating budgets for the Advocacy Center, the Center for Environmental Law, Law Library, Law Journals, and the Black Law Students Association; also providing administrative support to the Advocacy Center, Law Library and Law Journals.
Michelle is also responsible for the process of hiring, onboarding, and training new Research and Teaching Assistants; as well as overseeing the budgets for the RA and TA accounts, which includes assessing and projecting faculty research needs, setting appropriate allocations, and monitoring expenditures.
Prior to joining Loyola, Michelle worked for 13 years for Lockheed Martin, a large aerospace corporation; 8 years in human resources and 5 years as the executive assistant to the Vice President of Operations. Before Lockheed Martin, she worked 8 years in the banking industry. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Tulane University and an Associates degrees in Human Resources from Tulane University; also a proud graduate of Cabrini High School.
