The Career Development Office would like to wish you a well-deserved congratulations on your upcoming graduation! Before you embark on your career, we want to remind you that, as a Loyola law graduate, you are entitled to have access to career advising services and job postings on Symplicity; See https://law.loyno.edu/careers/alumni.
Additionally, to complement these services, we’ve created an Alumni Guide for your reference which contains employment resources, sample resumes and cover letters, information about professional communications, and tips on interviewing and making the most of your first job as an attorney; See https://www.flipsnack.com/CDOLoyola/2021-alumni-resource-guide.html.
Also, our office is collecting resumes of our graduating students for distribution to legal employers in the coming weeks/months. This Resume Book Collection is limited to Loyola University New Orleans College of Law students who graduated in December 2024 and those who are graduating between May 2025 and August 2025. THERE IS NO GPA OR RANK REQUIREMENT to participate in the Resume Book. There will be one Resume Book for Louisiana employers and another for non-Louisiana employers. For instructions on how to include your resume, please see Symplicity Job ID nos. 6476 and 6477.
Finally, there is a MANDATORY REQUIREMENT for all graduating seniors (JD students only) to complete the ABA's Graduate Employment Exit Survey. THIS SURVEY MUST BE COMPLETED REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU HAVE ACCEPTED EMPLOYMENT FOLLOWING GRADUATION. UNFORTUNATELY, IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE THE SURVEY, THERE WILL BE A HOLD ON YOUR DIPLOMA AND TRANSCRIPT.
The survey is available for completion via your Symplicity account. To complete the survey:
- Log into your Symplicity account - https://law-loyno-csm.symplicity.com /students
- There is a blue box on your home page that states: Complete the Graduate Employment Survey. Within that box, click on: Take the Survey Now.

- Please include as much information as you can. You can save your changes and review/edit your information at any time.
- Once you have completed entering information into the survey, click the “Save Changes” box. (The system will make your changes but will not send a confirmation.)
If you need assistance logging in or have any questions, please email Heather Lambert at lambert@loyno.edu. Please complete the survey by March 19. Thank you in advance.
We are so happy to share in the excitement of your graduation day and wish you the best of luck for your continued success and achievement!
