Keeping In Touch During the Spring

To schedule an appointment with your Career Development Advisor, please use our online appointment scheduling system in Symplicity. Please note that appointments scheduled online cannot be scheduled the day of and must be scheduled at least one day in advance. In the case of time-sensitive matters, please email your Career Advisor for guidance.

Yes, the CDO will be open remotely for individual advising appointments during the spring semester from 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.



Yes, all appointments will be held over the phone or by Zoom. Please log in to Symplicity to schedule an appointment with your Career Advisor. 


Yes, please either email your Career Advisor or schedule an appointment via Symplicity to have your application materials reviewed. Please allow time for you materials to be reviewed and returned with suggestions and comments for edits to your materials. If advance notice is not possible, please email your Career Advisor for guidance. 

CDO Informational Sessions, Programs, and Job Fairs

Yes, the CDO is making arrangements for their lunchtime and other programs to be available remotely for students to access live. For students' who have a conflict, programs will be recorded for those to view in our video library. 

Because of threat of the spread of COVID-19, the 2020 fall semester on-campus interview program has been postponed until the 2021 Spring semester 2021. (Pre COVID-19, Loyola second and third-year law students were eligible to participate in the on-campus interview program in July and August in the fall semesters of their 2L and 3L years.) Employers will recruit students in the spring semester for summer and post-graduate opportunities. To learn more about on-campus interviews, click here.

Yes, the Public Interest Job Fair will be held virtually in October. Students will be able to connect with employers and learn about summer, fall, and spring opportunities with the host organizations.
