Our Facilities
Main Building
The College of Law is housed in a 131,760-square-foot facility on the Broadway campus. The four-story building includes a combination appellate moot court room-auditorium, a trial court room, five lecture rooms, seminar-meeting rooms, placement interviewing facilities, staff and faculty lounges, faculty and administrative offices, Law Review and Moot Court offices. An extensive system of built-in audiovisual equipment has been installed for the use of students, faculty, and staff. The main building includes the four-story, 16,000-square-foot Wendell H. and Anne B. Gauthier Family Wing.
Law Library
The Loyola University New Orleans College of Law Library is housed in the College of Law building, which is on the Dominican campus. It occupies parts of the first and third floors and all of the second floor of the main building, a total of over 52,000 square feet. The Library’s full-time staff numbers seven, including four librarians. Within the law library are 2 student computer labs. One contains 25 desktop computers; the other is the Morris Bart Instructional Lab, which is used for student instruction, faculty/staff instruction, research, CLE, career services, and other technology-driven instructional needs.
Broadway Activities Center
The Broadway Activities Centers (BAC) is located across Pine Street from the College of Law. It houses one classroom, offices for student organizations, and food services.
Broadway Building
The Broadway Building is located at 540 Broadway Street. Formerly the Dominican Conference Center, the Broadway Building opened in 2011 and provides an additional 24,190 square feet of functional space. The building houses the law clinic, clinical faculty offices, the career development center, two classrooms, five conference rooms, several client meeting rooms, and a computer lab for students participating in the clinical programs.
