Bio
Autumn Snyder Harrell is a Deputy Chief of Screening with the Orleans District Attorney's Office. She previously worked as an attorney in the Office of General Counsel for the Louisiana Supreme Court. Prior to that, Autumn was a partner in the firm, H2 Law, LLC, where she practiced Criminal defense law and Family law from 2008-2020. Before that, she was in private practice in the U.S. Virgin Islands from 2004-2008. Autumn is a former board member of the Loyola Law Young Alumni Committee; former Chair of the Junior Committee of the New Orleans Opera Association; former board member of the New Orleans Opera Association, and a 2002 recipient of the Gillis Long Public Service Award. In college, Autumn served as the Editor and Assistant Editor of her college literary magazine Touchstone.
Autumn teaches a Law and Literature Seminar focusing on Criminal law and Constitutional law issues. She is also a frequent speaker and moderator at conferences and CLEs, presenting on various issues of law in the context of literature.
