Loyola University New Orleans' College of Law offers free tax preparation annually to low-to-moderate-income clients through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. The Internal Revenue Service-designed program is offered from February through April, with sessions staffed by volunteers three days per week. Last year, the program helped file over 650 tax returns.

VITA Program Hours:
The sessions begin Monday, January 23, and will continue through Thursday, April 12. No sessions will be held on Saturday, February 18 or Monday, February 20 due to the Mardi Gras holiday and Saturday, April 7 and Monday, April 9 due to Easter break.
