Applicants who wish to transfer from another law school approved by the American Bar Association must follow the same application procedure as an initial admission applicant. In addition, transfer applicants must have completed at least one year of law studies, but not more than one-half of their law program prior to admission to Loyola. An official transcript from the applicant's current law school must accompany the application. Transfer applicants excluded for defective scholarships or those on scholastic probation are not eligible for admission to the College of Law.
The applicant must ask the dean of the College of Law of current attendance, or other appropriate law school official, to send a letter certifying good academic standing. The letter should be sent by the dean or other appropriate law school official to:
