Description of Field Work
Formerly the Gulf Coast Center for Law and Policy, the US Center for Climate Law & Policy is a project of the U.S. Human Rights Network that engages in human rights programming to address the impact of the global climate crisis in the US, while maintaining a strong focus on the Gulf South region. The Center works to progress U.S. and international climate policy recommendations connected to advancing the racial, economic, gender, environmental, cultural and voting rights required to plan for, endure and recover from climate-based disaster.

Externship Requirements

The US Center for Climate Law and Policy seeks self-directed legal externs interested in policy work focusing on research related to the Center's policy initiatives.
