Step 1: RECEIVE PERMISSION
- Before beginning the application process for financial aid, students must get a Letter of Approval from their Academic Dean.
Step 2: FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS ON CONSORTIUM AGREEMENT
- After receiving permission to attend another university, the student follow instructions on the consortium agreement. (print online at http://law.loyno.edu/forms)
Step 3: LOAN ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICATION PROCESS
- Once the completed agreement is returned to Loyola, the student will be notified of his/her loan eligibility. The student may visit http://www.studentloans.gov to apply for a Graduate Plus loan. Loan eligibility will be limited to the amount on the consortium agreement. Please remember to complete a Master Promissory Note and Loan Entrance Counseling if you are a 1st time borrower of Loyola.
***Due to federal regulations on the timing of disbursements, it is possible that schools may not be able to disburse federal student loans in time for the tuition deadlines of other universities.***
