Amy C. Walters, J.D. ’04, was elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the 48,000-member State Bar of Georgia. She was installed in mid-June during the organization’s annual meeting, and will serve in the Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit, Post 1 seat.
Walters is a partner at Hagler Jackson & Walters in Columbus, where her practice is focused on child protection and advocacy and family law matters.
The Board of Governors is the 160-member policy-making authority of the State Bar, with representation from each of Georgia’s judicial circuits. The board holds regular meetings at least four times per year.
