Professor John Blevins' Article on “Irrational Licensing” to be published in UCLA Law Review

Professor John Blevins' article titled “License to Uber: A Better Way to Fix Irrational Licensing” was accepted for publication by the UCLA Law Review.  Blevins criticizes what he considers government overreach in the form of excessive occupational licensing requirements for jobs ranging from barbers to personal trainers.  The piece calls for a new, lightweight legal approach to occupational licensing using administrative law doctrines rather than constitutional doctrines.
