Trial Advocacy Team placed first in the criminal justice trial advocacy competition

Loyola Law's Trial Advocacy Team that recently placed first in the Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy Competition at Quinnipiac University in New Haven, Connecticut. As a result of this win, Loyola's team has been invited to participate in the ABA National Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy Competition at John Marshall Law School in Chicago in March 2010.  

Congratulations are in order for team members Nia Weeks, Karina Perez, Ryan Higgins and Dante Butler and coach, Bill Sommers.  A special recognition is extended to Dante Butler who received an award for conducting the best cross examination during the preliminary trials.
