The Loyola Public Interest Law Group (LPILG) has an interest in providing legal services to those who are traditionally underrepresented. LPILG members are interested in a variety of areas of public interest law including: providing legal services to the poor, civil rights work, working as public prosecutors or public defenders, and/or working for other non-profit public service organizations. LPILG's activities include: advocacy for loan forgiveness, endowing summer clerkships in public interest, increasing career placement opportunities in public interest law, and promoting public interest law within the university and the community.
