Bloomberg BNA

Bloomberg BNA Law School Information - The Bloomberg/BNA Law School Professional Information Center provides access to online research services and products from BNA on a wide variety of subjects. It includes titles such as the ABA/BNA Lawyer's Manual on Professional Conduct and the BNA Environment Reporter as well as a number of other specialized legal titles.

Bloomberg BNA Tax & Accounting Center - The Bloomberg/BNA Tax & Accounting Center is a specialized legal research portal for tax professionals that bundles together all of BNA's tax resources, such as the Daily Tax Report and the Tax Management Portfolios, and provides access to the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations, and federal tax cases.

Checkpoint Catalyst

CheckPoint Catalyst is an integrated set of tax research tools and resources used by tax attorney and other professionals It provides primary tax resources for both federal and state jurisdictions, as well as treatises and other secondary resources from publishers such as Research Institute of America (RIA) and Warren, Gorham & Lamont.

Congressional Basic (ProQuest)

CIS Congressional Universe provides comprehensive access to United States legislative information which is available from the publisher, Congressional Information Service, Inc. (CIS). Congressional information, including hearings and reports, is available in full text; the Serial Set goes all the way back to 1789. This is an excellent resource for compiling federal legislative histories or for researching the changes and attempted changes in federal laws. If you need assistance in using Congressional Universe, please ask a reference librarian. This Database was formerly known as CIS Congressional Universe.

E & E Publishing

E & E Publishing 's suite of publications includes ClimateWire, E&E Daily, Greenwire, E&E News PM, and LandLetter. Although it appears like the other databases the Energywire database is not currently in our subscription plan.


Ecolex  is an internet-based information service designed to provide law professionals, policy makers, and students with an extensive array of worldwide information from a single source. Available on the database are international treaties, national legislation from countries around the world, court decisions, and legal and policy literature.

The Economist (online)

The Economist offers authoritative insight and opinion on international news, politics, business, finance, science, technology and the connections between them. Please contact a librarian for access credentials.


Fastcase Libraries include primary law from all 50 states, as well as federal coverage going back to 1 U.S. 1, 1 F.2d 1, 1 F.Supp. 1, and 1 B.R. 1. The Fastcase collection includes cases, statutes, regulations, court rules, and constitutions. Fastcase also provides access to a newspaper archive, legal forms, and a one-stop PACER search of federal filings through content partners. (Financial Times)

GreenFILE (Ebsco)

This GreenFILE collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on the environmental effects of individuals, corporations and local/national governments, and what can be done at each level to minimize these effects.

Harvard Educational Review

The Harvard Educational Review database contains access to the past issues of this journal. Access is available through using a campus IP address.


HeinOnline is another source for periodical articles in full text. Produced by William S. Hein & Co., a major legal publisher and distributor, the purpose of HeinOnline is to provide electronic access to pre-1980 legal periodical literature which is generally not available from any other online source, although more recent articles are also included. It is searchable by journal title, article title, author, and full text. Available databases: 

Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals

The Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals (IFLP) is a multilingual index to articles and book reviews which appear in nearly 540 legal journals published worldwide. This resource is now available through HeinOnline.


The IntelliConnect legal research platform provides users with access to all our CCH/Wolters Kluwer legal resources, including the CCH OmniTax Library, with its collection of state and federal tax materials.


LawMemo is a labor and employment law publisher that provides labor and employment appellate law updates, to include labor and employment public benefits and ERISA cases – an invaluable resource that students, professors and practicing attorneys depend on daily. Included in this law school subscription are three reporters: the Employment Law Memo (ELM), the NLRB Law Memo, and the Arbitration Law Memo (ALM); access to LawMemo,Inc.’s appellate database, dating back to 1999; and access to LawMemo’s custom alerts.

The ELM provides case headlines, summaries and links to recently appellate court cases and is published three times a week (MWF); the NLRB Law Memo provides published National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) cases (when available); and the ALM is published monthly and it captures labor and employment law arbitrated appealed decisions to include headlines, summaries and links to the opinions.

LawMemo’s research  provides labor and employment law-related cases from all state and federal courts, including the DC Circuit and the US Supreme Court.

Legal Source (Ebsco)

Legal Source is a comprehensive database of legal and law-related publications. It indexes over 1700 periodicals, half of which have articles available in full text, and it includes all major law reviews for U.S. law schools in addition to a large number of foreign legal periodicals. Its precise, field-based search features and detailed subject headings lets you conduct very precise, comprehensive searches. Index to Legal Periodicals and Books is held within this database.
