Professor of Law, Director of the Gillis Long Poverty Law Center and Director of the Loyola Law Clinic
B.A., 1971, Purdue University; J.D., 1977, Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.
Prior to joining the Loyola law faculty in 1990, Professor Quigley was in private practice specializing in poverty and civil rights law after serving as a legal services attorney exclusively representing indigent people. He has represented individuals and organizations in institutional challenges in all state and federal courts in the areas of voting rights, living wage, welfare, housing, prisons, capital punishment and public education. Professor Quigley writes on issues of education, poverty law, and civil and economic rights, and teaches poverty law and clinical education.

Before coming to Loyola, Ms. Wilson was employed at IBM Corporate Headquarters in Westchester, New York, directly reporting to the vice president of marketing. She has been a member of the staff at the College of Law for over fifteen years. In addition to her duties in the Office of the Dean, she is responsible for overseeing the programs and daily operations of the Gillis Long Poverty Law Center Office.

Mr. Mitchell is the Pro Bono Coordinator for the Gillis Long Poverty Law Center and is also a Staff Attorney for the Law Clinic. He specializes in the legal problems of the homeless and in criminal law. Prior to joining Loyola's staff in 1997, he was staff attorney for the New Orleans Pro Bono Project.
