Leslie A. Lunney

Associate Professor of Law
B.S.N., University of Texas Medical Branch; J.D., University of Houston; LL.M., Tulane University.

Professor Lunney graduated with honors from Houston University School of Law where she served as Research Editor on the Houston Law Review. She was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Professor Lunney served as an associate with the Houston law firm of Liddell, Sapp, Zivley, Hill & LaBoon, where she practiced in the corporate and securities areas. She was an associate with the New Orleans firm of Phelps Dunbar, where she practiced in the insurance defense, toxic torts and environmental areas. Professor Lunney graduated with honors from Tulane University with an LL.M. in Energy and Environmental Law. In 2001, Professor Lunney received Outstanding Professor awards from the first-year law class and upper division law students. Prior to law school, Professor Lunney was a critical care nurse. Professor Lunney's teaching interests include torts, toxic torts, criminal procedure, and environmental law.
