After receiving her Juris Doctor at the William S. Richardson School of Law in Honolulu, Professor Chanbonpin served as a law clerk for Judge John S. W. Lim of the Intermediate Court of Appeals of the State of Hawai`i. In 2006, she received her Master of Laws at the Georgetown University Law Center.
Her scholarly interests include international and comparative law, human rights, national security law, social justice and the law
and she has written articles on property law and environmental justice. Professor Chanbonpin teaches National Security and Civil Liberties, Legal Research & Writing, and Moot Court.
