Professor Normann was in private practice with Normann & Normann, New Orleans, from 1950-1981. Professor Normann concentrated his practice in maritime law. Professor Normann became a faculty member at Loyola in 1981. He served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs from 1989-1992 and 1994-1995. He teaches in the areas of admiralty, maritime personal injuries, employee remedies (maritime), trial practice, the legal profession, and civil procedure. Professor Normann is an Academic Fellow of the International Society of Barristers and a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the New Orleans Bar Association.
