The students involved with the Loyola-Georgetown project on disasters and law are developing a Web site that will, among other things, feature work by faculty and students related to any aspect of Katrina or "disaster and law" in general.  They hope to post as much of this work as possible on the site, or if it is not available for distribution, to a least provide a citation or link to it.  This site will then be cross linked to other related Web sites.

This is a perfect way to get broader readership!

During the fall semester of 2007 students from Loyola College of Law had the unique opportunity to learn in conjunction with students from Georgetown Law Center to discuss certain issues left unsolved in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.  The students along with faculty, professionals, and administration came together to create an understanding of went wrong here in New Orleans, who to hold accountable, and what to do in the future to mitigate these same problems in future events.

The students understood that this collaboration between Washington D.C. and New Orleans created an clear line of communication between the communities, and in an attempt to keep the information about these important issues, we now ask a favor from you.

If you have any publications, research, projects, or absolutely any creative work related to Hurricane Katrina/ Rita that you would like to share with the public, we want it!  The submissions will be posted on our new website, which will serve as a clearinghouse of information related to Katrina. If you have any works that you have already published, but cannot republish the work at this time, please provide a citation for us and we will gladly include it on the website.
