Who is eligible for Law Clinic services?

The Law Clinic provides legal services for the indigent of New Orleans. Several times a year, students interview prospective clients, and if those prospective clients meet federal poverty guidelines and have the type of case that the clinic can handle, then the student would accept the case.

The Law Clinic does not have the resources to do research for people who are not clients or give legal advice to people who are not clients. For those who would like to research a legal problem on their own, the Law Library of Louisiana, http://www.lasc.org/law_library/library_information.asp is available for public use.
