Mr. Shreves is a Board Certified Tax Specialist (1992 to present) and a Board Certified Estate Planning and Administration Specialist (1996 to present) under the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization who represents individuals and businesses in connection with a variety of tax, estate planning and business issues. He works as a partner at Simon, Peragine, Smith and Redfern, LLP in New Orleans.  Mr. Shreves handles tax controversies, planning and implementation issues involving individuals, estates, trusts and businesses.

His experience includes the handling of tax, estate, trust and business controversies in state and federal courts, the U.S. Tax Court and the Louisiana Board of Tax Appeals, as well as various administrative agencies.  Mr. Shreves has served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Law at Loyola Law School since 1986.
