While attending law school, Dean Allison-Davis won the first year intramural Moot Court completion, served on the NCCU Law Journal, and served on the Moot Court team. She graduated tenth in her class. After law school she served as an Associate Attorney General in the North Carolina Department of Justice where she specialized in legislative drafting, estate law, and criminal appeals. She then served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Shreveport where she provided counsel for the departments of Water and Sewerage, Police, CAO, and the Minority Business Enterprises departments as well as appellate research and writing. Before joining the Loyola community, Dean Allison-Davis also served as the In-House Counsel for Franklin Community Credit Union in Omaha, Nebraska. Dean Allison-Davis’ first position at Loyola was a supervising attorney for the Public Law Center which was a clinical joint venture between Loyola and Tulane providing training in legislative and administrative advocacy. She assumed her duties managing the Admissions Office at Loyola in 1990.
