Bar Exam Preparation Supplemental Sessions

The Bar Exam Preparation Supplemental Sessions offer weekend sessions to supplement the Loyola law graduates’ preparation for the bar exam. The sessions are presented by Loyola professors and are scheduled on Saturdays or Sundays during the weeks leading up to the bar exam to coincide with commercial bar preparation courses.  The Bar Exam Preparation Supplemental Sessions also maintain a Blackboard site with resources to support our graduates as they prepare for the bar exam.

In these sessions, the bar exam is discussed and information on past Louisiana Bar exams is provided, tips on taking the exam, and new developments in specific areas are discussed. The topics include discussions on property, community property, acquisitive prescription, successions and trusts, sales and leases, obligations, contracts, liberative prescription, criminal law, criminal procedure, torts, evidence and Louisiana Code of Civil Procedure.
