Association of Women Law Students

The Association of Women Law Students is an organization dedicated to providing philanthropy, social, and networking opportunities to all law students of Loyola University.  AWLS holds events for law students to meet with attorneys and professionals within the local legal community. AWLS also connects members with their fellow law students they may not otherwise meet by hosting numerous social and service-oriented events throughout the year. We routinely benefit organizations such as Metropolitan Center for Women and Children, Loyola’s canned food drive, Mardi Gras bead collection, and other non-profits that support women-centered causes. Membership is open to all students interested in furthering the dialog on issues facing women in the legal community and beyond.
