Achievements

Tassin will preside as justice of the peace for Ward 8 of St. Tammany Parish, an area encompassing Eastern Slidell and Pearl River.

She joined the firm’s New Orleans office in 2009 and practices in the admiralty and maritime, energy and corporate litigation groups.

He joined the firm’s New Orleans in 2010 and practices in the environmental regulatory, Process Safety Management, emergency response, and intellectual property groups. 

Freedman works at the Loyola Incubator Program. He helped clients across a broad range of issues -custody, divorce, wills and powers of attorney, child support, tort defense, and a complex fight over real estate involving a questionable transfer of title and usufructuary rights. Jonah also brought a case to the Project, an eviction for a Spanish-speaking client.

Rhorer donated more than a hundred hours of work on a case against a contractor who agreed but failed to renovate a client’s home following Hurricane Katrina.

Taylor, a New Orleans native, is a registered patent and an engineer. He advises and assists clients on various intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, branding, entertainment and publicity rights.

She joined the office as an intern in the spring of 2014, served as a law clerk while studying for the bar.

She has worked at the firm as a clerk since May 2013 and was promoted after passing the bar this past October.

The resolution applauds his 27 year career as a law practitioner, and reads in part “Ramón Abadin solidified his reputation as a top-notch legal mind when he was sworn in as the most recent president of the Florida Bar Association, where he will focus on technology issues, continuing education and encouraging lawyers to embrace change.”
