Achievements

Steve Copley, J.D. ’85,  Martin Landrieu, J.D. ’88, Scott O’Connor, J.D. ’89, and David Messina J.D./M.B.A. ’87 are named Super Lawyers in the 2016 edition.   Julie Deshotels Jardell, J.D. ’07, was recognized as a 2016 Rising Star in the area of Energy & Natural Resources.

Tassin will preside as justice of the peace for Ward 8 of St. Tammany Parish, an area encompassing Eastern Slidell and Pearl River.

Mr. Munn serves in their corporate finance and securities group at the firm’s Memphis office

He joined the firm’s New Orleans in 2010 and practices in the environmental regulatory, Process Safety Management, emergency response, and intellectual property groups. 

She joined the firm’s New Orleans office in 2009 and practices in the admiralty and maritime, energy and corporate litigation groups.

She formerly served four years on the City of New Orleans Alcoholic Beverage Control Board and served as both vice chair and chair of the board.

Freedman works at the Loyola Incubator Program. He helped clients across a broad range of issues -custody, divorce, wills and powers of attorney, child support, tort defense, and a complex fight over real estate involving a questionable transfer of title and usufructuary rights. Jonah also brought a case to the Project, an eviction for a Spanish-speaking client.

Rhorer donated more than a hundred hours of work on a case against a contractor who agreed but failed to renovate a client’s home following Hurricane Katrina.

Taylor, a New Orleans native, is a registered patent and an engineer. He advises and assists clients on various intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, branding, entertainment and publicity rights.

She joined the office as an intern in the spring of 2014, served as a law clerk while studying for the bar.
