Sonya N. Pierre, J.D. ’12, has joined the Entertainment Law practice of Manhattan-based Phillips Nizer LLP. In her new role, she will counsel music, film, television, and sports clients on matters of contract negotiations; production, label, distribution, and joint venture agreements; sponsorship, touring, and endorsement agreements; licensing, merchandising, fashion, fragrance, and cosmetic deals; soundtrack agreements for motion pictures; and literary agreements with book publishers. Pierre is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences and the Black Entertainment & Sports Lawyers Association.
