William Perez, J.D. '94, Appointed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Leadership Council

Adams and Reese Special Counsel William Perez (Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, J.D., 1994) has been appointed to the ALSAC Leadership Council, formerly the Professional Advisory Board, of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

St. Jude is ranked as the country's top pediatric cancer hospital and is currently rated as the most trusted nonprofit brand name in America. The hospital has more than $2 billion in assets, $1 billion in revenue, and $685 million in private donation in 2010.

It has been ranked the No. 1 pediatric cancer hospital by Parents magazine; No. 1 children’s cancer hospital by U.S. News & World Report; No. 2 largest health care charity in America according to the Chronicle of Philanthropy’s Philanthropy 400 list; No. 11 largest charity on Forbes list of the 200 largest U.S. charities; and the first and only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children.

At Adams and Reese, Perez is a member of the Corporate/Securities/Mergers and Acquisitions team in the firm’s New Orleans and Washington, DC, offices. He has extensive experience in all aspects of public and private company corporate and securities matters. Perez has a LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation and a MBA with an emphasis on manufacturing. He has worked in both law firm environments and as in-house counsel. He is licensed to practice law in Louisiana, the District of Columbia, and Virginia.
