Loyola University New Orleans College of Law professor and education law expert Rob Garda was the featured speaker at the University of Georgia School of Law and College of Education last week.
Garda presented "The Benefits of Diversity for White Students" at a lecture sponsored by the Education Law Students Association on Feb. 2. As author of a recently published article in the Florida Law Review on a similar subject, Garda's lecture focused on the academic and social benefits white students receive in multiracial schools. Earlier in the day, Garda was a guest teacher at professor Sonja West’s Constitution Law class and presented a paper regarding special education in charter schools, based on an upcoming article in the North Carolina Law Review.
