Professor Imre Szalai's Article to be Published in Ohio State Journal of Dispute Resolution

The Ohio State Journal of Dispute Resolution recently accepted Professor Imre Szalai’s law review article for publication.  His new article, “How the Supreme Court Used a Jedi mind trick to Turn Arbitration Law Upside Down,” explores a recent Supreme Court decision about arbitration law, American Express v. Italian Colors Restaurant.  In the 2013 case, the Supreme Court ruled that class action waivers contained in mandatory arbitration clauses were valid even if plaintiffs prove that it would not be economically practicable to maintain these actions individually.
