2L Harry Yelton Recognized as 2014 Clerk Extraordinaire by the Pro Bono Project

Harry "Rick" Yelton, a current 2L at Loyola, was named Clerk Extraordinaire of the Year at the Pro Bono Project's Volunteer Appreciation Awards and Reception. The Honorable Raymond S. Steib, Jr. Judge 24th Judicial District, Jefferson Parish presided as Master of Ceremonies.

According to a spokesperson for the Project, Rick "...worked in the areas of child-in-need-of-care and consumer law. During his time with The Project, he demonstrated a willingness to take on any task and an ability to complete work timely, and displayed the utmost professionalism in his attention to detail and interactions with clients. Rick was instrumental in our ongoing work with active-duty military personnel and veterans, helping us to establish a monthly mortgage clinic for service members at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Belle Chasse."
