2014 Alumnus Roddrick Harrison, Volunteer Firefighter, Saves Marigny Couple from Home Fire

Roddrick Harrison, J.D. ’14, was featured in the New Orleans Times Picayune for his heroism. Harrison, a firefighter who also is currently clerking for Civil District Court Judge Regina Woods, saved two people from a burning building in the Marigny while off-duty.

"This is an example of a young firefighter going above and beyond, risking his life while off duty to save the lives of two others," NOFD Superintendent Timothy McConnell said in the release. "We're extremely proud of Roddrick and I'm sure the couple whose lives he saved are eternally grateful."

Roddrick formed the Harrison Law Practice in October 2014.
