2009 ABA Representation in Mediation Regional Competition hosted by Loyola College of Law

The 2009 ABA Representation in Mediation Regional Competition was hosted by Loyola College of Law March 6 &. 7. The First two rounds of the competition were held at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana thanks to the support and generosity of Chief Judge Sarah Vance and Judges Carl Barbier and Ivan Lemelle. The team composed of Anne Marie Muller and Jennifer Kensill placed 3rd and the team composed of Rick Brown and Danny Milian placed 6th in the Region. The teams were coached by Kandace Hamilton and Prof. Nannette Brown. The final round was held at Loyola College of Law Saturday morning. The competition was a great success thanks to the efforts of the Law Student Region V Host Committee, Tommy Peyton, Laura Hopes, Kandace Hamilton, Drew Jacobs, Amy Ingram and Mediation Clinic Students, Craig Robinson, Mike Alltmont, Mimi Goitom, Ellen Chen, Kristin Harrison and Arielle McConduit; and student mediators in the competition, Jair Obregon, Jeremy Sharp, Mike Almont, Ellen Chen and Evan Godofsky. Special thanks also goes out to Terry Sulli for all of her hard work in helping to make the competition a success.
