Jaimmé Collins, J.D. ’05, has been accepted into the Product Liability Advisory Council as a sustaining member. PLAC is a non-profit association formed in 1983 to analyze, understand, and shape the common law of product liability and complex litigation.
Collins is a partner at Adams and Reese, where she chairs the firm’s Diversity Committee. In addition to her product liability practice, which has centered on pharmaceutical litigation, she advises clients on contractual and general business issues as well as compliance issues related to government regulatory agencies. She is the immediate former chair of the Executive Committee of the Children’s Bureau of New Orleans and serves on the Board of Trustees of University Medical Center New Orleans. She is a 2013 alumna of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute and a 2013 fellow of the Norman C. Francis Leadership Institute. She has also received numerous diversity awards in recent years, including the National Urban League’s Urban League Empowerment Award in 2014 and the National Diversity Council's Glass Ceiling Award in 2013.
