2003 Alumnus Maurice C. Ruffin Joins Johnson, Yacoubian & Paysse

Maurice C. Ruffin, J.D. ’03, has joined the firm of Johnson, Yacoubian & Paysse

Mr. Ruffin is a commercial litigator and trial attorney. He has represented clients in hundreds of civil matters, including insurance coverage and casualty disputes, surety and construction matters, complex torts, workers compensation proceedings, medical malpractice litigation, mediations, and appeals.

While at Loyola, Maurice served on the Loyola Law Review, was selected at the 2003 class graduation speaker, served as a LRW teaching assistant and a research assistant to several professors, was and oralist on the ATLA Louisiana Trial Team (2002 State Champions), was a team brief writer at the 2002 Tulane Mardi Gras Moot Court Competition, served as treasurer of the Black Law Students Association, was a student ambassador, and was the 2000 recipient of the Outstanding Service to the College of Liberal Arts Award.
