About the College of Law

More than 100 years of academics, justice and service.

In 1914, the Loyola College of Law opened its doors and has been opening the minds of future law professionals ever since. It’s here, in the halls and classrooms of the college’s Uptown New Orleans campus, we further the Jesuit tradition of academic rigor, pursuit of justice and service to others through our ABA-accredited civil and common law programs. Federal judges, state and local politicians, law firm partners, corporate attorneys and executives—they all started their illustrious law careers with a Loyola education. As we begin our second century, we look forward to educating the next generation of legal professionals committed to using the law for good.
