Dear Valued Community Member,
The Loyola University New Orleans College of Law Moot Court Program is excited to announce its 9th Annual Golf Tournament. I am pleased to share with you the opportunity to market your business in an environment of sophisticated, active consumers on November 18th, 2011 at the Audubon Park Golf Club.
The Moot Court Program is a non-profit organization that funds teams competing in advanced appellate oral arguments and brief writing against top ranked law schools throughout the country. Last year, the Moot Court Program enjoyed success in numerous competitions, including placing 1st overall in University of San Diego’s Criminal Procedure Tournament, placing 2nd overall in Tulane University’s Mardi Gras Competition, and reaching the semifinals in DePaul University’s Cultural Heritage Competition. Our program is one of the most demanding, prestigious, and respected student appellate advocacy programs in the country. The Moot Court Program’s continued success depends upon your support.
To ensure the future development of our program, we would like to invite you to participate in furthering our achievements and national recognition by making a tax-deductible donation. The golf tournament serves as our principle fundraiser for the academic year and it provides exposure to approximately 300 lawyers, judges, and business professionals throughout the New Orleans and surrounding areas. In exchange for your support, your business will receive recognition on the official Moot Court website and recognition at the golf tournament. Please note that Team Sponsorship Packages are available this year, which offer various levels of participation in this year’s golf tournament as well as the Moot Court Banquet in the Spring. These packages give sponsors the opportunity to support and follow a team as it prepares to represent Loyola in one of eight competitions nationwide.
Thank you for your support in helping the Loyola University College of Law Moot Court Program achieve another year of success. Enclosed please find a 2011 Loyola Moot Court Golf Tournament registration form and levels of sponsorship participation form for the 2011 Golf Tournament and Team Sponsorships.
